Silverbacks make commitment to community | Community Spirit
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Silverbacks have developed a new community-centered organizational focus, the soccer club announced Monday.
This "Think Community" initiative involves the team's fans. The Silverbacks turned to Facebook and Twitter, asking how metro Atlanta residents want the club to be involved in local issues and causes.
"As an organization, we want to continue growing and developing, but we want to achieve that with the community at our side," Silverbacks owner Boris Jerkunica said. "By giving the people within our community a voice, we can better understand how to work together to fulfill each others' goals."

Through the "Think Community" vision, the Silverbacks hope to host a series of community-themed nights, with each set to correspond with a 2012 home game. These events will allow local residents and businesses to promote and celebrate their community on a professional soccer platform.
