Minx is a favorite among locals and university students. The shop, which features florescent lights and an adorable resident Corgi named Winston, has an impressive collection of vintage jewelry, boots, shows, coats and furniture. However, shoppers think the best part of the shop is the $1 section in the back and the $5 bin. This is the type of thrift store that makes thrifters happy. The store is located at 166 W. Clayton Street in Athens.

The Classy Finds Consignment store carries everything from formalwear to hardware and tools. The store is always a great place to find new and gently used item. The store even sells office supplies, records, rugs and carpets. If you want to sell items, the store will allow you to sell your items with else, in store or on Ebay. The store is located at 50 Old Peachtree Road in Suwanee.   

Looking to re-do your room with gently used finds, look no further, the Potter’s House Thrift Store is the shop for you. This store is run by the Atlanta Union Mission and is, seemingly, the place to go for furniture; the store has a selection of brand new, handcrafted wood pieces that are made by men in recovery programs. Who wouldn’t want affordable, one-of-a-kind furniture for a cause? The store is located at 434 Prince Avenue in Athens.

The old-faithful America’s Thrift is good for those who enjoy bargains and thrifty finds. The store, like most others is color-coded and they offer discounts daily, depending on a daily color coded discount system. Shoppers can receive from 30% to 50% off select purchases. Customers complain that they aren’t able to try on clothes before they buy them, however, the store offers a store credit to all returned clothing.
