LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We’ve listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

Go see the “We Are Folk: Exploring Traditions in Southern Folk Art” at the Hudgens Center for the Arts. This exhibit is being curated by Steve Slotin of the Slotin Auction House which specializes in folk and outsider art. The Hudgens is located at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.

Downtown Auburn will host an Armed Forces Day and Amvets Motorcycle Ride in Downtown Auburn on Saturday, May 21. The “Defenders of Freedom” motorcycle ride features displays of military equipment and memorabilia, food, fun and activities for the kids.

The Norcross High School Men's basketball program has partnered with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to create the first annual Krispy Kreme for a Cure 5K Race, KK4AC-5K.  The race, which follows a scenic route through downtown Historic Norcross, includes optional doughnut-eating at the halfway point. The race starts at Rossie Brundage Park is located at Autry Street in Norcross.

Meet local artist and buy local artwork at the City of Suwanee’s Arts in the Park. The Arts in the Park event is located at Suwanee Town Center Park at Buford Highway. The event will be held all day on Sunday, May 22.

The Braselton Beach Bash Festival will be held at Braselton Park on May 22. The kid’s themed festival will feature moonwalks, bungee jumps, a petting zoo, face painting, arts and crafts and other vendors. Come out and bring the entire family. The park is located at 115 Harrison Street in Braselton.

 The Georgia Force vs Jacksonville Sharks will be held at the Arena at Gwinnett Center. The Georgia Force is the official arena football team in Atlanta. The Arena is located at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.

The City of Duluth will be hosting a Health and Fitness Fair, this weekend. In an effort to bring National recognition to Duluth, the City Recreation Department is asking all families to pledge online at http://www.buddybison.org their participation in this national movement. The festival will be held at the Duluth Festival Center which is located at 3142 Hill Street in Duluth.
