Forward Ruben Luna, defender Bobby Reiss, and midfielders Brandon Manzonelli and Mark Withers have all joined Atlanta's professional soccer club.

Luna, who was born in Mexico and grew up in the U.S., comes to the Silverbacks from FC Dallas. He made 30 appearances and racked up four goals during his three years with his former club.

Reiss joins his former youth soccer teammate Richie Menjivar, who already plays for the Silverbacks, on this season's roster. The former Cal State Fullerton player and team captain will wear #4 in Atlanta.

"I'm blessed and extremely fortunate to get this opportunity in Atlanta," the California native said in a statement. "I'm thankful for all of the people that helped me get to this point, and now I'm just excited to take the next step and get the season going with my new teammates."

Manzonelli has extensive international experience, having faced teams from Belgium, Northern Ireland and Wales in the 2008 Milk Cup, where he played for the U.S. He is originally from St. Louis, Mo., but began playing for Spanish team Villareal CF when he was still a teenager.

Withers grew up in Florida and last played for the Dallas Sidekicks. He has gone on training stints with top soccer clubs in Ecuador, Germany and Mexico, and is now excited to come to Atlanta and wear #17 with the Silverbacks.

The Silverbacks' 2013 season will begin Apr. 13 with a home game against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. Learn more and buy tickets at atlantasilverbacks.com.
